Experience a life-changing mission trip to Baltimore, Maryland, with It Is Written! This mission trip will be strictly a medical mission. It Is Written will partner with AMEN, Chesapeake and Allegheny East Conferences to conduct a three-day medical clinic before a large-scale evangelistic series in Baltimore, Maryland, beginning October 3. Each person who attends the clinic will be invited to the series and offered Bible studies.There are two components to this trip:1) There will be a 3-day medical clinic at the Miracle City Church, 100 S Rock Glen Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229. Licensed Medical Providers in Maryland will be utilized in the clinic. Physicians, dentists, physical therapists, nurses, technicians, and any other medical professionals are needed.2) non-medical support team members are also needed to assist in various capacities at the clinic.This trip is open to all non-medical providers. Medical providers licensed in Maryland or providers willing to work in non-medical roles.We will need a copy of your medical license. Additional information will be needed as we get closer to the event.SCHEDULEWednesday the 24th - Arrive morning/early afternoon. It Is Written Mission Trips

We really enjoyed our trip to Baguio City and the Mountain Provinces Mission. The people were great, the mission was memorable, and the experience with the Philippine culture brought us back to many years spent there previously. Once again, flexibility was required, as usual, but we loved the experience and would do it again if we can afford it. Thank you for the opportunity. God is good. It was generally well planned and executed. Nathan and Wes were good leaders and made it a fun experience. The MPM officers and staff worked hard to make it a great experience for all.

Philippines Mission Trip

Our recent mission trip to the Mountain Missions Province in Baguio City, Philippines, was exceptionally well-organized and professionally led, creating an environment where participants could focus fully on meaningful service. With a spirit of flexibility—true to It Is Written’s guiding principle—we were able to adapt, engage, and make the most of every opportunity presented.
From serving alongside the local church to supporting the medical clinics, the impact on the community was tangible and deeply rewarding. Time spent connecting with the local culture added richness to the experience, making it both purposeful and personally meaningful. If you are considering joining an upcoming mission trip, this is a well-structured and impactful opportunity to serve, grow, and make a difference.

It was a great trip and fantastic experience.  The people were friendly, wonderful and helpful.  the food was great and the accommodations were excellent!!  Many people found Jesus as their personal Savior and were helped physically, also.  I would definitely recommend mission trips.  They are more fulfilling, exciting and uplifting than anything else you could do.  You will be so blessed because you are a blessing to others!!

Ethiopia Mission Trip

It is great to have an organization coordinating new and impactful ways for us to serve and connect with neighbors in the name of Jesus. 

The relationship between “Amen” and “It is Written” roles in this trip was a little confusing. 

I’m blessed to be able to serve in this Medical Mission in Baltimore. We had to commute for about 40 minutes or so but everything worked out very well as the weather was nice and we ended everyday while it was still light. 
It was a great experience for us. 

This was my first trip to any kind of mission field. I have wanted to go on one of these trips for a long time, but was not keen on the idea of going out of the United States. So when I saw this trip to Baltimore, I immediately decided I would go.

This trip was a blessing in several ways. Innitally I was going to be going by myself and staying in a hotel. The expense would have been well over $1500. But GOD blessed me immensely when he provided someone else to go with me and through a friend of a friend being able to stay at a beautiful home with gracious hosts. And carpooling as well. 

Raising funds for this trip was slow coming causing some worry but in the end the funds came in. In fact, more than we needed came in. And was still coming in after the trip. We were so grateful for all that monetary help we got and plans are to donate the extra monies.

The event itself was exciting and amazing to me. From the setting up of everything to the taking down of everything. The best part for me was being a greeter and engaging with the public as they came, and as they stood in lines, and as they exited. The gratefulness of our guests spoke volumes. 

And that was not the end of it. My car’s battery light came on just before we were going to leave our hosts’ house. God provided a place to get that taken care of before we pulled out of the driveway. It ended up being the alternator. Had that not worked out that way we would have most likely been on the freeway when the alternator went out. 

All praise and glory goes to our Father GOD and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

 The Maryland trip was my first experience working in the missionary field.  It was a great experience.  Simply having the opportunity to fellowship with like minded Christians was rewarding alone.  Everyone I met absolutely wanted to be there and was happy to serve.  I found it amazing that such a large body of people could work on one accord.  That was refreshing.  It was a true testament to the power of the Holy Spirit. To make the experience even grander was the satisfaction received by aiding the huge number of people seeking our services.  I certainly look forward to future opportunities to serve.  May God continue to bless His people in particular and all people in general.

Good accommodations.  Large selection of food, but mostly meat or spicy.  Good site attendance.  Large baptism.  Excellent translators.  Poor country.  Most roads not near as bad as claimed.

It was a very rewarding trip.  I made several new friends and enjoyed seeing God work through our collective efforts. There were some communication and logistical areas that could have been improved through better advance planning, nevertheless it was highly enjoyable.

I was very happy to be able to participate in this mission trip after signing up last minute. I met such wonderful and dedicated people, members of the mission team but also the local church members and other local volunteers. We witnessed many blessings and saw the Holy Spirit at work, changing many people's hearts.
The water filter project with RipplAffect was also very inspirational, I am sharing the link to the website with everyone  around me.
 I hope to be able to participte in a next mission trip with It Is Written.

This trip was highly blessed by God. It was wonderful.

The trip to Ethiopia was a life changing experience. We were able to assist the people of Ethiopia  with clean water, dental cleaning and health screening. We were also able to give them of the living water Jesus Christ. Very memorable experience. And it is written, did a wonderful job. Organizing it

We were so blessed by every one on the team. It was an honor to work with these precious people! Michael and Elena Pelletier’s leadership, coupled with their love for the Lord, made this mission trip such a joy to be on. God be praised for the souls won for His kingdom. We won’t know until heaven the harvest from the seeds we planted. God be praised!

Please strive to arrive no later than early afternoon so that you can be checked into your hotel room and present for the evening orientation.2) Your flight should depart for home on September 29 from the airport back to your home unless you arrive early or stay later for personal reasons.3) If you would like to arrive early or stay late for personal leisure, you are responsible for all arrangements, accommodations, and expenses. They are an Adventist-owned travel agency and can help for a minimal fee. It Is Written is unable to assist you with booking flights. You are welcome to bring any food items that will meet your needs while there. We encourage you to bring a variety of snacks such as crackers, granola bars, peanut butter, etc. No fresh produce may be brought into any country from another country, although fresh fruit and vegetables are in abundance locally. Be sure to pack any liquid items above 3 oz in your checked baggage.

The CDC can provide helpful information and recommendations. Each recommendation is a personal choice at the discretion of the individual. Participants should consult with their personal physician and make responsible decisions. It Is Written is not responsible for the results of any personal medical decisions.

Medical Requirements

Please register and complete your fee payment as soon as possible. The final deadline is September 1, 2025.If you need an extension beyond this date (due to extenuating circumstances) or have any questions, please call us at the office. Please note that if you are granted extension time, you must pay the remaining fee before departing the country, or your spot will be forfeited, even if you have booked your ticket.If you are viewing this information beyond the deadline and have interest in the trip, please call us. Payment Deadline

If the participant cancels before we have paid for the accommodations, internal flights (where applicable), travel insurance, and meal healdcount plans, we give a full refund.If a participant cancels for any reason after the accommodation and reservations have been made we give a 25% refund. Because these factors vary for each trip, you will need to call the office and discuss these details with us as soon as you need to cancel.

Cancellation Policy

Note: price includes a non-refundable $50 registration fee.The price covers food, and travel insurance once you have arrived in the location. It also assists with supplies and expenses for the medical clinic and evangelistic meetings. So, your fee covers all of your in-location expenses, and it supports the medical and evangelism work we will do while there. You will also receive a custom It Is Written mission trip T-shirt and mission gift box filled with exciting gifts useful for your mission experience! Your plane tickets, hotel, local transportation (rental car or Uber), personal and excursion expenses, or additional baggage fees are separate from this cost. Most people bring $200-$400 for personal spending, but it is at your discretion.
